Lincoln’s Cathedral rises from the landscape to welcome visitors to the city. History abounds in the Cathedral Quarter where the ancient castle still stands guard over a rich culture. In the surrounding countryside, there’s a wealth of castles and stately residences, some of the most incredible architecture you’ll see anywhere in England. The eclectic and charming mix of heritage against a modern city atmosphere makes Lincoln an accessible and inviting alternative UK city break destination with an array of shopping and sightseeing options.
