DAY 1 We travel to Cairnryan to board the 1630 hrs ferry to Larne. After the two hour crossing, we head to the Belfast area for our overnight stay.DAY 2 After breakfast we make our way along the Antrim Coast Road with its unspoilt views of the Irish Sea and arrive at the Giant’s Causeway, here will visit the Visitor Centre and view its unique volcanic stone pillars before making our way to Fermanagh and our base for the next three nights.
DAY 3 Following a leisurely start, we head to the awardwinning Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh. One of Northern Ireland’s major museums, it brings to life the powerful story of mass emigration as millions of people sailed to America in search of a ‘better life’. Following the north shore of Lower Lough Erne, we travel onto Belleek, home of the famous Belleek Pottery, Irelands oldest pottery. We will then return to your hotel in plenty of time for one of the highlights of your tour: this evening explore beautiful Lough Erne with its many archaeological and historical sites on a Sunset Dinner Cruise aboard the hotel’s private river cruiser, the ‘Lady of the Lake’.
DAY 4 This morning we head to the fabulous Blessingbourne
Country Estate for a guided tour of the house and gardens with its fascinating history, by the Lady of the Maonr. We finish the tour with tea ans scones.
DAY 5 Today we will depart the hotel after breakfast and make our way to Enniskillen with free time to explore. Built on a natural island that splits Upper and Lower Lough Erne, this attractive waterside setting bustles with boats in the summer and has many lively pubs and restaurants. After lunch we return to The Stormont Hotel, Belfast for our last overnight stay.
DAY 6 Following breakfast we travel to Larne for our 1030 hrs sailing to Cairnryan. After disembarking, we travel homeward.
