DAY 1 We travel down to Harrogate to arrive in time to unpack before dinner.
DAY 2 We travel on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway today, we make our way to Pickering and travel to Grosmont along the wonderful scenic route. We will follow that with a visit to the historic coastal town on Whitby, with its famous cliff top Abbey.
DAY 3 Our excursion today takes us to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, visiting Grassington,which has everything that comes to mind when you imagine a typical village: stunning views, beautiful stone buildings, quirky shops and friendly pubs. Then on to the market town of Skipton known as the Gateway to the Dales.
DAY 4 Today you are free to explore the spa town of Harrogate, renowned for its floral beauty, with its Victorian Pump Room, Royal Baths, curiosity shops and beautifully manicured gardens. Afternoon Tea at Betty’s could be a perfect treat.
DAY 5 Homeward bound today.
