7 Nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, Guided Audition Tour of Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Entry to Warwick Castle, Stratford River Cruise.
DAY 1 We leave home and travel to our overnight hotel in the North of England.
DAY 2 After breakfast we travel south to Stratford visiting Worcester en-route.
DAY 3 We begin our day with a relaxing 45 minute river cruise with an engaging guide who will bring Shakespeare’s Stratford to life, before spending some free time in
Stratford. In the afternoon, we head for the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre where we enjoy an Audition Tour, taking a whistle-stop journey through the production cycle of a play, peeking inside the vast Costume Store and trying on some of those used in rehearsals, taking the chance to try out our Shakespeare and seeing how we would fare in an audition, and walking through the gardens hearing stories about the theatre making process.
DAY 4 Today, we spend time at the magnificent Warwick Castle. With more than 1,000 years of jaw-dropping history the castle’s attractions include a maze, a Time Tower and the Mighty Trebuchet. Behind the castle’s mighty walls, the real heart of the castle can be found in its beautiful grand interiors. Please note, a visit to the castle involves a fair amount of walking and steps. We then pay a visit to Royal Leamington Spa set on the winding River Leam.
DAY 5 Today is at leisure, enjoy a walk along the Avon, a browse around the shops or take in the many historical attractions Stratford has to offer.
DAY 6 We travel through the Cotswolds to the beautiful historic villages which have remained unchanged little over the years with thatched cottages, old inns and grand manor houses in abundance.
DAY 7 We leave Stratford and make our way to the North of England for our overnight stay paying a visit to Chester en-route.
DAY 8 After breakfast, we head homeward.
